He was born in Konya in 1972. He graduated from Konya Selçuklu High School in 1990 and entered Hacettepe University School of Health Administration. He graduated from here in 1994. In the same year, he started his master's degree at Hacettepe University, Department of Healthcare Management. He completed his master's degree in 1997 with his thesis named "Time Management and an Examination on Hospital Top Managers". Between July 1998 and November 1999, he completed his military service as a health management officer at the General Staff. In December 1999, he started to study as a lecturer at Fırat University the College of Health Services. In the spring of 2000, he started his doctorate education at Hacettepe University Health Sciences Institute, Department of Health Management. In December 2003, he received the title of doctor of science with his thesis named "The Effect of Social Culture on Organizational Culture of Hospitals: The Example of Fırat Medical Center". In 2009, he became an associate professor of Management and Organization. He was appointed professor in 2014.
Between 1999 and 2009, he worked as a lecturer at the Fırat University The College of Health Services, and served as the Vice Director of the School and the Head of Program. He also served as the Dean of the Faculty of Communication at Süleyman Demirel University between May 2015 and December 2020. Since 2009, he has been working as a faculty member at Süleyman Demirel University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Healthcare Management, and has been working as the head of the department. Between 2014-2015, he served as the academic advisor of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), Isparta Province, and is still a member of the Health Administrators Association, the European Union Health Research Center (ABSAM), and the International Strategic Health Research Center (USSAM). He is also a member of the Science Board of the Turkish Health Policy Institute since 2017. Recently, he has been working on qualitative research methods, critical management, sociology of health, and the structure and functioning of academic organizations.
