Serkan GULSOY is an Assoc. Professor in the Department of Soil Science and Ecology in the Faculty of Forestry, Suleyman Demirel University, Turkey. In 1999, he attended Suleyman Demirel University and received a Bachelor's degree in Forest Engineering. In 2005, he became a lecturer at Sutculer Vocational School of SDU. He continued his graduate studies at SDU and received his master degree in 2007. He received his Ph.D. in Soil Science and Ecology from SDU in 2011. His current research interests are focused on the forest ecology, ecology of non-wood forest products, vegetation classification techniques, spatial modeling techniques, biostatistics and biodiversity, He published more than 50 scientific papers. He has attended many conferences and symposiums during the last years. He has participated in some national and international projects both as project manager and assistant researcher. Also he was also project manager for “TÜBİTAK-TOVAG 112O814 project” and “TÜBİTAK BİDEB 2229 Analytical Nature - Cluster and Ordination Techniques”. He has teaching experience of Graduate and Post Graduate classes and has been holding some academic positions and member of committees at the university now.
