Doç. Dr. Özal ÇİÇEK

Ozal Cicek was born on September 29, 1987, in Istanbul, and he graduated from Marmara University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations in 2010. Cicek has got his MS degree from Suleyman Demirel University, Institute of Social Sciences Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations with a thesis titled “Analysis of the Macroeconomic Effects of Non-Taxing the Minimum Wage: An International Comparison” in 2013. He has got his Ph.D. Degree from Suleyman Demirel University, Institute of Social Sciences, Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations with a thesis titled “The Impacts of the Privatization of Sugar Mills in Turkey on the Productive Class and the Pursuit of Alternative Models” in 2019. He has various chapters and articles. He is a research assistant at Suleyman Demirel University, Department of Labor Economics and Industrial Relations since 2012. His research interests include labor markets, industrial relations, social policies, history of labor, new cooperativism.
