Veri toplama aracı olarak Tanıtıcı Bilgi Formu, Hems ̧ire I·s ̧ Doyum O ̈lc ̧egˆi (HİDÖ), I·svec ̧ I·s ̧ Yu ̈ku ̈-Kontrol-Destek Anketi (I·KD-TR) ve Bakım Davranıs ̧ları O ̈lc ̧egˆi-24 (BDO ̈-24) kullanıldı. Veriler, sayı, yu ̈zde, ortalama ve standart sapma ile o ̈zetlendi. Verilerin analizinde bagˆımsız gruplarda t-testi, tek yo ̈nlu ̈ varyans analizi, Bonferroni testi, Pearson korelasyon analizi ve doğrusal regresyon analizi kullanıldı.
Bulgular: C ̧alıs ̧maya katılan hems ̧irelerin I·KD-TR toplam puan ortalaması 1,04±0,24, HI·DO ̈ toplam puan ortalaması 3,35±0,53 ve BDO ̈-24 toplam puan ortalaması 5,20±0,61 olup, I·KD-TR, HI·DO ̈ ve BDO ̈-24 arasında anlamlı bir ilis ̧ki oldugˆu saptandı (p<0,05). Hems ̧irelerin meslegˆi isteyerek sec ̧me, c ̧alıs ̧ılan birim, pandemi o ̈ncesi c ̧alıs ̧ma ortamını degˆerlendirme durumu, pandemi sonrası gu ̈nlu ̈k bakılan ortalama hasta sayısı, Covid-19 su ̈recinde is ̧ten ayrılmayı isteme durumu ile BDO ̈-24 toplam puanı arasında istatistiksel olarak anlamlı bir fark oldugˆu belirlendi (p<0,05). Regresyon analizi, pandemi öncesi çalışma ortamı, iş kontrolü, üstlerden uygun destek ve işyerinde algılanan önemin bakım davranışını etkilediğini göstermiştir (sırasıyla p=0.01, 0.04, 0.04, 0.01).
Sonuç: Bu c ̧alıs ̧mada hems ̧irelerin is ̧ stresi du ̈zeyinin du ̈s ̧u ̈k, is ̧ doyumu ve bakım davranıs ̧ı du ̈zeylerinin yu ̈ksek oldugˆu belirlendi. Bu bagˆlamda Covid-19 pandemisi su ̈recinde hems ̧irelerin bakım davranıs ̧larını etkileyen fakto ̈rlerin belirlenmesi ve bu su ̈rec ̧te hems ̧irelerin yas ̧adıgˆı sorunlara yo ̈nelik daha c ̧ok c ̧alıs ̧ma yapılması o ̈nerilmektedir.
Aim: This study was conducted to examine correlation between nurses’ job stress, job satisfaction and caring behavior perceptions during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Method: A descriptive and correlational research was carried out between December 2020 and January 2021 with 261 working nurses at Bursa Yuksek Ihtisas Training and Research Hospital. Descriptive Information Form, Nurse Job Satisfaction Scale, Swedish Demand-Control-Support Questionnaire and Caring Behaviors Inventory-24 were used as data collection tools. Data were summarized by number, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. In the analysis of the data, independent groups t-test, one-way analysis of variance, Bonferroni test, Pearson correlation analysis and linear regression analysis were used.
Results: The Swedish Demand-Control-Support Questionnaire total score average of nurses participating in the study was 1.04±0.24, Nurse Job Satisfaction Scale was 3.35±0.53 and CBI-24 was 5.20±0.61. It was determined that there was a significant relationship among Swedish Demand-Control-Support Questionnaire, Nurse Job Satisfaction Scale and CBI-24 (p<0.05). It was determined that there was a statistically significant difference between the nurses’ willingness to choose the profession, unit of work, evaluating the working environment before the pandemic, the average number of patients cared for daily after the pandemic, the state of wanting to leave the job during the Covid-19 process, and the CBI-24 total score (p<0.05). The regression analysis showed that of the pre-pandemic work environment, job control, support from superiors, and perceived significance in the workplace affected the caring behavior (p=.01, .04, .04, .01, respectively).
Conclusion: In this study, it was determined that the level of job stress of nurses was low, and their job satisfaction and care behavior levels were high. In this context, it is recommended to determine the factors affecting the care behaviors of nurses during the Covid-19 pandemic process and to conduct more studies on the problems experienced by nurses in this process.
