Recently, Computerized numerically controlled (CNC) woodworking machinery that can automatically control the movements of a spindle and table, has been widely introduced in wood industries for automatically cutting, drilling, and shaping. This technology presents many advantages related to output, surface quality and provide greater improvements in productivity, and increase the quality of the machined part. A type of CNC router has become especially popular in furniture manufacturing, and has been used for the grooving, side milling, and patterning of furniture material.
