Özet

Recently, much effort has been dedicated to the microwave assisted synthesis of metal-free and metallophthalocyanines [1]. In addition, there have been several incidences reported of the synthesis of unsubstituted, and some substituted, metallophthalocyanines using microwave irradiation under solvent free conditions [2,3].

A fast and effective procedure was developed for the synthesis of bulky substituted metal-free phthalocyanines and metallophthalocyanines. The present procedure described in this paper demonstrated that microwave processing combined with solvent-free condition leads to shorter reaction time, higher yield, a clean reaction product and easier workup than classical thermal processing [4].
