ANNALS OF NUCLEAR ENERGY, vol.31, no.5, pp.577-582, 2004 (SCI-Expanded)
The linear attenuation coefficients mu (cm(-1)) and total mass attenuation coefficients (mu/rho) (cm(2) g(-1)) of gamma-rays for barite, marble and limra have been calculated using the XCOM program (Version 3.1) at energies from 1 keV to 300 MeV. The calculated results were compared with the estimation coefficients (Alp) based on the measured total linear attenuation coefficients (it). (C) 2003 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
