Özet

In the settlement mound of Alacahöyük, which has been systematically investigated since 1935,

research on the Early Bronze Age royal tombs and evaluations of their finds are rather insufficient. For that

reason the finds were reevaluated in 2009. The research results paved the way for new interpretations. In this

regard, a pendant made of lapis lazuli that was found in tomb K deserves special attention, as it is one of the

few finds in Anatolia at that time.
