Para sevgisi ölçeğinin Türkçe uyarlaması: Geçerlilik ve güvenilirlik çalışması

Özet

Bu çalışmada Tang ve Chiu (2003) tarafından geliştirilen Para Sevgisi Ölçeğinin (the love of money scale) Türkçe uyarlaması yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın örneklemini Denizli ilinde yer alan ve üretim sektöründe faaliyet gösteren bir işletmenin çalışanları oluşturmaktadır. Bu kapsamda örneklemden farklı zamanlarda alınan toplam 335 veri ile analiz süreci gerçekleştirilmiştir. Örneklemden elde edilen verilerle ölçeğe ait güvenilirlik ve geçerlilikler sınanmış, açımlayıcı faktör analizi ile doğrulayıcı faktör analizi gerçekleştirilmiş, son olarak ölçeğe ait birleşim ve ayrışım geçerlilikleri test edilmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlarda toplam varyansın %80,31’inin açıklandığı 17 ifadeli ve 4 boyutlu bir yapı elde edilmiştir. Ölçeğe ait uyum değerleri ise kabul edilebilir sınırlar içerisinde yer almıştır (χ2/df =1,75; CFI= 0,97; GFI= 0,88; AGFI= 0,84; NFI= 0,96; TLI= 0,96; RMSEA= 0,06). Ölçeğin boyutlarına ait güvenilirlik değerleri 0,86 ile 0,95 arasında değiştiği ve birleşim ile ayrışım geçerliliklerinin sağlandığı ortaya çıkmıştır. Bu sonuçlara göre Para Sevgisi Ölçeğinin Türkçe versiyonunun geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçme aracı olduğu ifade edilebilir.
The love of money scale developed by Tang and Chiu (2003) in this study was adapted into Turkish. The research sample consists of employees of an enterprise operating in the manufacturing sector in Denizli province. In this context, the analysis process was carried out with 335 data taken from the sample at different times. With the data obtained from the sample, the reliability and validity of the scale were tested, exploratory factor analysis and confirmatory factor analysis were performed, and finally, the convergent and discriminant validities of the scale were tested. In the results, a 4- dimensional structure with 17 items was obtained, and 80.31% of the total variance was explained. The fit values of the scale were within acceptable limits (χ2/df =1.75; CFI= 0.97; GFI= 0.88; AGFI= 0.84; NFI= 0.96; TLI= 0.96; RMSEA= 0.06). The reliability values of the dimensions of the scale ranged between 0.86 and 0.95, and the convergent and discriminant validities were met. According to these results, the Turkish version of the love of money scale is a valid and reliable measurement tool.
