Özet
Amyloidosis is a rare condition characterized with extracellular deposition of fibrillar proteins. Although it is frequently systemic, it may exhibit localized involvement of various tissues. Laryngeal amyloidosis is quite rare. Larynx comprises less than 1% of benign masses. A 40-year-old female patient presented to our clinic with hoarseness. A well-shaped mass lesion was detected in the right supraglottic region with indirect laryngoscopy and larynx tomography. For diagnostic purposes, the mass was excised totally under general anesthesia with microscopy using direct laryngoscopy. Histopathological examination revealed amyloidosis.
