BACKGROUND: Mayer-Rokitansky-Kuster-Hauser syndrome is the second most frequent cause of primary amenorrhea, with a reported incidence of 0.002%. Patients have a normal karyotype and usually normal ovaries. Associated ovarian abnormalities are rarely reported.
