Özet
Functional seamless garments include double-face knitted fabrics that combine hydrophilic andhydrophobic materials to take advantage of their liquid transfer and insulation properties. Thisstudy investigated the surface friction, thermal, and liquid transfer features of double-face fabricswhose inner layers consist of Nilit HeatVR, polypropylene, polyester, ThermosoftVR, ViloftVR, wooland outer layers consist of polyamide. Moreover, subjective forearm tests were carried out toevaluate the effect of the materials on coolness and wetness sensations. According to theresults, Polyester/Polyester and HeatVR/Polyamide (inner/outer) fabrics, which provide warmerand drier sensations, can be recommended for cold-weather garments with also low inner sur-face friction coefficients. While HeatVR/Polyamide has advantages for thermal resistance, absorp-tion and liquid absorption capacity with its branched structure, Polyester/Polyester is better atdrying speed. Combining the results of objective and subjective thermal comfort parameters forfunctional fabrics including different materials, is thought to be useful for achieving realisticresults for different parts of seamless garments
