The aim of the study is to assess potential natural and cultural landscape values using social media photos.
11731 geotagged photos uploaded by 737 different users in last ten years from Flickr, a photo sharing
platform on social media, were obtained between the '28.51,37.00, 30.06,38.43' coordinates using the
FlickrAPI link and the Phyton code. In this context, a preliminary analysis was carried out to determine
the photos in terms of geotags, upload time, user ID, URL links and spatial accuracy of the photos. After
this analysis, the photographs were classified according to the natural or cultural landscape value of the
area showing the geographical coordinates and spatial analyzes were carried out using geographic
information systems (GIS). At the end of the study, Kernell density map was created to analyze the data
spatially and statically.
Bu çalışmanın amacı doğal ve kültürel peyzajın potansiyel değerinin sosyal medya fotoğrafları kullanılarak
belirlenmesidir. Sosyal medyada bir fotoğraf paylaşım platformu olan Flickr’dan 737 farklı kullanıcının
son 10 yılda yüklemiş olduğu 11731 coğrafi etiketli fotoğraf FlickrAPI bağlantısı ile Phyton kodu
kullanılarak '28.51,37.00, 30.06,38.43' koordinatları arasında temin edilmiştir. Bu kapsamda fotoğraflara
ait coğrafi etiketler, yüklenme zamanı, kullanıcı bilgileri ve fotoğraflara ait URL bağlantıları ile mekânsal
doğrulukları içeren bir ön analiz yapılmıştır. Bu analiz sonrasında fotoğraflar coğrafi koordinatını gösteren
alanın doğal ya da kültürel peyzaj değerine göre sınıflandırılmış ve coğrafi bilgi sistemleri (CBS)
kullanılarak mekânsal analizler gerçekleştirilmiştir. Çalışma sonunda, Kernell yoğunluk haritaları ile
mekansal ve sayısal değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır.
