Effect of Chlorantraniliprole and Thiamethoxam Mixture Against Cydia pomonella (L.) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) (Takim: Familya) Eggs

Özet

Apple (Malus communis L.) with high nutritional value is a kind of pome fruits in Rosaceae family cultivated for many years in Turkey. In recent years, world's apple production has approached to 76 million tons. In apple production, as it is in production of other cultivated plants, struggled against variety of diseases and pests. Codling moth (Cydia pomonella L.) (Lepidoptera: Tortricidae) is the principal pest of especially apple tree and pear, quince and walnut trees. In this study, it is aimed to determine the biological efficiency of the chemical preparation which consists of the mixture of these active ingredients : 200 g/kg Chlorantraniliprole + 200 g/kg Thiamethoxam which have been applied during codling moth's egg period. As a result of this study, the efficiency of 12.5 g/100 l water dose and 15 g/100 l water dose of the chemical preparation was found at higher than that of 10 g/100 l water dose. These two doses were statistically in the same group with the 12.5 g /100 l water dose of comparison insecticide, Coragen (R) 20 SC with 200 g/l Chlorantraniliprole active ingredient. As a result of the experiment, it was determined that it would be proper to use 12.5 g/100 l water dose amount which is the least water dose of other two doses because of chemical preparation's 12.5 g/100 l water dose and 15 g/100 l water dose being in the same class.
